Griefwalk Assistant

Overview: The Griefwalk Assistant offers first level support to the Griefwalk team (staff and volunteers). This person will also be a key member of the Golf for Griefwalk committee, our major annual fundraiser.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Griefwalk in first level response by answering phones and general administration (photocopy packages, training binders etc)
  • Support our Golf for Griefwalk fundraiser (phone calls, follow-ups, photocopying, communications etc), reporting to the tournament chair 
  • Support and help coordinate our in-person support groups

Qualifications:

  • Loves Jesus, loves people, and is passionate about helping people in grief
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Empathetic, compassionate, understanding
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Above average computer skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to complete tasks as needed

Reports To: Griefwalk Program Coordinator

This is a part-time, contract position, working approximately 8 hours/week from January - October. Hours are flexible. 

Compensation: $16.55/hour
